    • Fr Relyea is one of my favorite priests. He really brings the fire and passion of the word...and then there's his endearing Brooklyn accent!

    I heard him say he was from Queens (Woodhaven?? ....not far from Brooklyn) in his compelling conversion sermon. Maybe his parents were from Arthur Avenue.

    Yes it is. It's considered the Belmont section and it was once mostly populated by Italians. I haven't been up there in over 30 years. It's close to the Bronx Zoo, the Botanical Gardens, and Fordham.
