Here is from the code of 1917. It is not much different from the code of 1983 with the exceptions that in the 1983 the sponsor must be confirmed and the minimum age is 16. In the 1917 code the sponsor only has to be baptized and the minimum age is 14. It is concievable that one could be the sponsor of multiple candidates for baptism.
