Title: Giving credit where its due
Post by: Trinity on February 02, 2012, 04:07:59 PM
There seems to be an anti sedevancantism spirit going around.  Someone even likened it to a swamp.  On this forum it would seem so.  But who is making the stink?  Who are these people; your good law abiding citizens?  It would be much more accurate to call them the renegades they are.

One of the nicest, most charitable people on this cess pool has been accused of being rude.  Balderdash!  How polite is it to run thread after thread dissing our Church?  How polite is it to host fraud after fraud inimical to sedevacantism?  How polite is it to keep SJB on here recycling his lies for years?  One would  think it the least of charity to shut such slandering lies down at the outset.

So now that's  make our list of stinkers.....

Well, I don't know much about the SGG, but I agree with you about giving credit where credit is due. That pretty much goes for all Traditional groups out there, whether it be the SGG, SSPX, CMRI, etc.

There is No such Thing as 'sede vacantism'.

Come on people.  I thought Catholics stood for truth and justice and I thought this was a Catholic forum.   I will start the list if it's any help.

Eamon and company

SJB and company

LOT and company

Eamon and SJB pretty much belong in the same category.

As for LOT, interestingly I haven't seen him make one post since he got busted for having multiple accounts. There's a good chance he won't be posting here anymore...

Aye, but the damage is done, even if LOT has retired.  Eamon and SJB are on the same wavelength, but not the same gig.  I don't think people have given SJB enough credit.  Like the devil, though, he probably appreciates being underestimated.  He is the more poisonous of the two and has had a longer run at stinking the place up.

All should be reminded again that females have no business in theological matters. The proclamation of absurdities like the alleged 'sede vacantism' is the result.

What exactly do you mean by this?

Isn’t the Holy See vacant on the death of a pope until his legitimate successor is elected?

Please explain...

I did not say that there is no such thing as sede vacante.

That is the stupidest thing I have ever read.

I disagree that any significant damage was done to the Four Marks. I read through most of LOT's posts looking for just that, but I all found was him repeatedly proving himself a lone individual with an axe to grind.

I'd never heard of Kathleen Plumb and think no less of her after reading through LOT's baseless complaints. So, she has a new policy of not printing some of the most controversial names in the Trad world right now -- good for her! -- nothing wrong with keeping your publication a bit distant from every fast-breaking up and down.

I would say the damage is done more  to sedevacantism than to Four Marks.  Not everyone is as perceptive as you, Mater, and the recent threads point to an increase in mockery.

Roscoe why don't you try that stunt on Matthew's thread?  It's past time you were put out of our misery.

I'm still looking for that list.  I think it will wind up comparing roughly with Matthews'.

It certainly is.  St. Scholastica, St. Catherine of Siena, St Teresa of Avila, St. Gertrude, St Hildegard, St Therese, etc all should have been quiet?

This is all very nice, folks, and I thank you for your posts, but I really do want that list.   It's only fair to list the ones who are turning our church into a swamp instead of making blanket accusations.  Sedevacantists didn't do this and it has NOTHING to do with our beliefs.   Thieves and blackguards have done this.  Help take the onus off good and innocent people and place it where it belongs.
