It appears that lately there has been both confusion and frustration over my views and beliefs, which may explain why my ignore count has slowly increased the past few months (I don't care). So I'm going to have to set some things straight on my views and beliefs, because these accusations against me are getting old.
First of all, dislike me for it if you want to, but I don't believe in putting sedevacantists and non-sedes on two different "sides". We are all Traditional Catholics afterall, just with different conclusions on the crisis. It appears that this belief of mine has resulted in a dislike of me from people on both "sides". Perhaps one could classify me as having it "both ways" on the crisis...in other words, believing that Benedict and his ilk are heretics but at the same time showing sympathy towards Archbishop LeFebvre and the SSPX, even though I'm not a supporter of Bishop Fellay (and no I don't think the Society is perfect). Lately, certain people like Caminus appear to be turned off by me because of this. Well, I'm sorry if you find my posts and beliefs so repulsive, but if you do then you don't have to read them. I don't come on here to kiss up to certain people or to try to "fit in". There are times when my confidence is shaken a bit or when I am corrected, but the main reason I post here is to defend the Catholic Faith and to please God.
Secondly, I do NOT argue for the sake of arguing. On another thread, s2srea accused me of arguing just because I got some kind of enjoyment out of it, which isn't true. It is true that I like theological debate because it helps strengthen my ability to defend the Faith, but I don't go around intentionally picking fights with other people so I can get an enjoyment out it. That's what a troll does, and my record on this forum shows very well that I am not a troll. You're free to think what you want, though.
And finally, I am not now nor have I ever been a dogmatic sedevacantist. A few people here seem to believe I'm a dogmatic sede for whatever reason.
While it's true that my views and beliefs have changed to an extent since I joined this forum, one thing that has not changed is that I am still a Traditional Catholic. And as much as you may disagree with some of my views, I think being a Trad should be respected, just as I have respect for everyone here that is Traditional regardless of their beliefs. If you don't like reading my posts, you can ignore me, though I don't care, and I'm staying regardless. I have just been receiving alot of unfair and unfounded accusations against me and my beliefs lately and I felt the need to clarify them. A Blessed Sunday to all.
God Bless.
