Germany Picture of the Week, Butcher Block Altar!

Here's a picture of the week from the site of the SSPX German District. The deformation of the churches just doesn't seem to stop.

This is a wooden block with a hole in it which is supposed to be an altar, and a cross with a corpus which recalls a stick man. The Holy Ghost Chapel in the Elder Hostel in Wiesbaden has earned the rubric "Picture of the Week".

You can see the cross, below, in the picture above just to the left of the butcher-block, where it appears to be standing a few inches - um, centimeters - in front of the bright window. Notice, too, on the right side there is another such window, with a bottle displayed in it - that's probably the blessed oil bottle that Novus Ordo churches like to put on display, like a museum or exhibition hall.

Is this where the SSPX is going with their "accommodations with NewRome?"

Look like that's where they are heading - 'birds of a feather, flocks together'.
"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."
