Am I right?
I don't personally know anything of this group. However, any person who holds the beliefs that you describe is, as you say, at best a heretic. At worse, he is a pagan or apostate (if he had ever been a Christian).
It is odd, however, that many people today--especially bishops of the Conciliar Church--will almost never declare that a person is a heretic, that is, unless he's a traditional Catholic. In general, most people today consider anyone who says he's a Catholic to be a Catholic.
It is how prots think. they say that Jesus hates the righteous and loves the sinner. They cite parable of prodigal son,, the pharisee who entered the temple and "he came to heal the sick not the healthy etc."and many others to prove that the more evil you are the more God loves you.
I remember once hearing a prot sermon via satelite. I remember I was planning to commit a big sin just to make God love me more.
Trads are after goodness and virtues so their 'Christ' doesn't love trads.
