  • I guess it would be strange to post on a trad Catholic forum about Martin Luther King. He after all was a protestant minister who was named after the worst protestant minister of them all- a lying former catholic priest.

The point to be made is a hijacking !

gαys argue and align themselves in the black civil liberties movement. They claim the backing of Martin Luther King.

What would Martin Luther King have to say about gαy rights ?

The answer- he never gave it lip service. The reason why is he knew it was wrong and assumed everyone else did too. In this same way Jesus never brought it up. ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ relationships and sodomy were perceived as evil in Judaism which was the paradigm which Jesus Christ lived. Jesus never had to speak of the ills of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity because everyone knew it was evil, period.

Anyone who says that Martin Luther King would favor gαy rights is either lying or stupid.

IN California's Prop 8 election in which voters overwhelmingly made gαy marriage illegal the gαys liked to scape goat religion for the slight, particularly Catholics. The fact is that Catholics voted about 50/50. The group that pushed Prop 8 to success was black votes. Blacks as a segment of society hold the greatest opposition to gαy marriage and rights. In particular the highest segment to be opposed to gαy marriage in that election was black females. So to say that Martin Luther King would be for gαy marriage is in fact an insult to most black people.

This is important to note when people who profess to be progαy catholics hijack Jesus too.

    Just saying.
