    • Prevost already has a connection to the SSPX. Since 6 Feb 2025, he's been the titular cardinal bishop of the Suburbicarian Diocese of Albano. Albano is where Italy's SSPX district house is. He's given a homily in Albano, too, according to LifeNews.
    The connection might be tenuous. Who knows if he visited Fr. Pagliarani, but it's possible.

    • Very weak link, but something to keep an eye out for as they possible finish the regularization.  Heck Leo might "consecrate" the bishop for them personally.
