I was just reading an article in the most recent copy of the Catholic Family News entitled "7th Dolor: The Burial" which is a very good piece of writing but I was struck by something that I thought was very funny.
The article lists a bunch of names that people call traditional Catholics, most of which I have never heard before, here is the quote:
"Traditional Catholics just trying to "keep the faith" have been insulted with dozens of derogatory names in recent years, including:
rigid,
self-absorbed,
neo-Pelagians,
modern Gnostics,
slaves of superficiality,
museum mummies,
pickle-pepper-faced,
elitists,
little holy cards,
starched Christians,
peacock Christians
and
funeral faces"
I don't know where they got these names from but I would probably fall on the fall laughing if someone ever called me any them.
