In a discussion of Pat Buchanan, one poster wrote this incredible statement (obviously too much Fox News):

"Both. Moslems in the ME suffer from envy of the West...and of Israel. We may not have done things perfectly over there...but it's not believable that we are the root cause of all the hatred Moslems in the ME have for the West and for Christians."

Comment-we have engage in what JP2 and b16 have said is an unJust war, we have violated Constitutional laws on war, declaring war and Letter Marquis and Reprisal,etc....we have stuck our noses in buisness not our own and have done so for "isreal" an illegal and terrorist state, one that is lauded and defended by many at FE....envy the west? of what?? MTV, abortion, rampant pornograpgy, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity, degradation, sky rocketing depression/mental illness, consumerism, fake lives??? which or, all the above??

why the hatred seem to come out of nowhere in the 40's on? was it because Britain/USA/UN caued it by forming "israel"??? and taking land from others to give to people that had vacated the area 1900 yrs ago?? who would not be pissed off??

we ignorant and naive people like this, no wonder the mess we are in...hopefully he/she changes before the vote and have children.....otherwise a :shocked: :scared2: thought

All you have to do to understand why Muslims dislike the west is to turn on the television. I see so many traditional Catholics who openly admit to watching bad tv, bad movies, and liking it, all while proudly claiming the traditional Catholic label.

Anyone with sensus Catholicus would "hate" (wish to avoid its pernicious influence) the West as it is now.

I agree. Could never understand how a traditional could watch television (I've heard just about every excuse and rationalization for it too), but to each his own.

Television causes me great pain and great sadness.

It hurts me.

If Muslims hate America because of the television and movies and popular music we export to them, in addition to our support of the Jєωιѕн state, then I would understand their hatred.

I stop watching TV years ago, and do not have to worry about
a monthly cable bill.
However, I have to put up with Family members whom have
their TV on 24/7.
They like to talk about the early morning carnage on the
freeway, and the latest police pursuit chasing a criminal
by car through traffic, and around town. Since the car is
tracked by helicopter, they are guaranteed to get their
man. This is live TV in which people are demanding.

The one thing that bothers me about them however, is they believe it is okay to lie if it benefits their religion in any way.

That is not very nice. It makes me feel that I can't trust them no matter what they say now.

Yes, that is the problem here. I have two adult family members who will not let the t.v. go. Oddly enough my children are better able to forgo the television. They have limited viewing. I always wish some solar flare or something would knock out the satellite for cable.

The Neo-Cons are as delusionally tied to the success of these doomed wars as the Neo-Caths are to VCII. It is a sad case of their pride not wanting to admit they were wrong, thereby getting them in deeper and deeper into a quagmire.

They have pipe dreams of democratizing an Islamic ME and are willing to pay whatever price in blood and treasure it takes to do so. I suppose they somehow picture democracy as a sort of panacea of all ills that will turn the region into flower wielding capitalists.

The wars have done nothing but cost American lives, Iraqi and Afghanistanian lives, hastened our economic decline, and incited more violence and terrorism. As Pat has said many times, they are over here because we are over there. We have learned nothing from all the great nations who faded from the world stage after building an Empire and going broke defending it in never ending foreign wars.

It is bad enough having to try to convince otherwise intelligent Neo-Cons of this, much less Fish Eaters. I'd save your time.

The poster in question at FE has it dead on accurate. The funny thing, the bs litany against the West that certain malcontent elements within the trad movement regurgitate have become a tiresome stool that will remain unflushed for some time

porn mtv etc...always leaving out that the muzzie world has a much worse problem with all of this....the google searches for nasty porn coming out of that region are hilarious in light of the muzzie supporters in the trad world's claim about how virtuous they are when compared to the west.

Additionally, the poster at FE does not watch TV an is as attacked on fox forums belloc has done here and just as ignorantly

For another poster, I can let you know that the poster has 3 children and will not be changing anything about her voting...

But the prism of distributheft that belloc skews his world through makes it almost impossible for him to understand the world in which we live....poor little liberal belloc....a socialist in Catholic clothing...

As for Stevus...I garoooteee that the FE poster in question does not think we should "democratize" the devil world of the muzzies...LOL...not one bit....she is way more sever...LOL

Liberty is pretty much only for those regions with a distinct Christian flavor...and that means the West alone pretty much.
