  • Is anyone remotely troubled by the new Conciliar pope's pectoral cross?

  • Are those sheep on one side and goats on the other? I can't tell.

It certainly isn't a beautiful cross but it is not as ugly as that broken cross that John Paul II used to carry around.

  • That is a very strange "cross".

I do not think that it is a real pectoral cross.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention, TKGS.

It certainly shows that Francis wants to make many breaks with tradition.

Only recently made "pope" [sic], and yet already he has been unconventional in several ways.

And obviously he is a heretic. Which is far worse.

Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.
I abjure and retract my schismatic support of the evil CMRI.Thuc condemned the Thuc nonbishops
"Now, therefore, we declare, say, determine and pronounce that for every human creature it is necessary for salvation to be subject to the authority of the Roman Pontiff"-Pope Boniface VIII.
If you think Francis is Pope,do you treat him like an Antipope?

  • It almost appears as if the sheep on Our Lord's shoulders has a sort of demonic face.  Can't be certain.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • remember the good ole days....

When the crucifix was a reminder of the Sacrifice The Lord made for us?

When I returned to the Church that was the one thing I wanted for Christmas...

and I wear it all the time.

it helps me watch my p's and q's

Reminds me of the horrors of the 1970s. Funny how the "modernists" seem so stale and dated yet the beautiful art of the Mass of All Time is as fresh today as 1,500 years ago.

  • Well, the good news is that it's a departure from the cross worn by his predecessors that looked more like a plus sign.

The bad news is, it's still ugly.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.
