"Who am I to judge?" about the sɛҳuąƖ orientation of priests" Francis said.

I wonder if he would be so kind if a reporter asked him his opinion of the sedevacantist Catholics of today.

    Quote

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis has warned that the Catholic Church's moral structure might "fall like a house of cards" if it doesn't balance its divisive rules about abortion, gαys and contraception with the greater need to make it a merciful, more welcoming place for all.

    Please pray for my soul.

  • The reason so many non-Catholics like this guy is because he's not a Catholic. He's a liberation theology Marxist who happens to wear a white cassock.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • "You will be hated by all men for My Name's sake."

"Woe unto you when all mean speak well of you."

Of course, we know that "all men" in these sentences does not mean ABSOLUTELY EVERY SINGLE person in either case, but rather that VAST MAJORITY of those who are worldly and un-Christian.

It is frightening to me sometimes, I mean REALLY a source of unease and profound disconnect, when I see people who are either not Christians at all, or those who claim to be Catholic yet are so publicly and vocally disobedient, acting so in love with people like Wojtyla, Ratzinger and Bergoglio.

Interesting to me is how the less overtly Catholic these men have been down through the decades, the wider their acceptance has been.

Paul the Sick was at least photographed in many "traditional" poses and settings. He looked the part, for the most part.

Wojtyla was photographed making goo-goo eyes and sticking out his tongue and wearing stupid hats and such. Ditto for Ratzinger.

Bergoglio simply goes around kissing children like a politician; he talks like one, too, and basically seems to be more like a UN Council member than the Vicar of Christ.

I pity these men, and I hope that my individual judgment by Almighty God shows me to be totally opposed to their errors, as frail and weak as I am.

St. Dominic Savio, whose motto was "Death rather than sin", pray for us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  •   We should avoid rash judgement. I hope everyone reads the full  10,000 + word interview and not  some MSM article before making judgement.

The only thing we should avoid is Francis the Phony and his new religion. I've read enough from him to know what he's all about.

And some do.  Eventually they'll wake up and smell the coffee too.

If I hear one more  "it's the media's fault!", I think I'm going to scream.

  • lol, I think it is funny that I got thumbed down for saying  something that Christians are suppose to do.  I wonder what kind of Christians think it is okay to judge someone based on hearsay.

Like someone said, we've read enough of what Francis has said.  We've all been where you are....and we're done.

But his vision of what the church should be stands out, primarily because it contrasts so sharply with many of the priorities of his immediate predecessors, John Paul II and Benedict XVI. They were both intellectuals for whom doctrine was paramount, an orientation that guided the selection of a generation of bishops and cardinals around the globe.

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable,
most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God
be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored
and glorified in Heaven, on earth,
    and under the earth,
by all the creatures of God,
    and by the Sacred Heart

You got thumbed down because it doesn't appear that you understand what 'rash judgement' is.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

I had nearly the same thought. It looks like poochie found someone to play with.
