  • Another example of Bp. Fellay purposefully ignoring and denying who he's dealing with:

Belief in "extraterrestrials" is a condemned heresy.
    See Denzinger Denzinger link

It was Condemned by Paul II in the letter "cuм sicut," Nov. 14, 1459:

717c (3) "That God created another world than this one, and that in its time many other men and women existed and that consequently Adam was not the first man."

Pope Francis says he would baptise aliens: 'Who are we to close doors?'
Pontiff made the out-of-this-world pledge during homily on acceptance

Pope Francis has said that he would be willing to baptise aliens if they came to the Vatican, asking “who are we to close doors” to anyone - even Martians.

In a homily yesterday dedicated to the concepts of acceptance and inclusion, Francis recalled a Bible story about the conversion of the first pagans to Christianity, according to reports on Vatican Radio.    He said Catholicism was a church of “open doors”, and that it was up to Christians to accept the Holy Spirit however “unthinkable” and “unimaginable” it appeared.

Pope Francis Talks About Aliens; Says He Would Welcome Martians to Receive Baptism

Pope Francis spent some time during Mass at the Vatican on Monday talking about alien life forms, and suggested that Martians, should they ever visit Earth, would be welcome to be baptized as well.

"If – for example – tomorrow an expedition of Martians came, and some of them came to us, here ... Martians, right? Green, with that long nose and big ears, just like children paint them ... And one says, 'But I want to be baptized!' What would happen?" the Roman Catholic Church leader theorized, as reported by Vatican Radio.

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • Did Francis deny that Adam is the father of these ETs?
I don't see how he proclaimed heresy here.

  • I thought I remember reading somewhere that Pope St. Zosimus also condemned the same kind of heresy during the time of the Pelagian heresy, but I had not been able to find the quote. It used to be on the older version of the website of catholicism.org several years ago. Perhaps it was the above quote of Pope Pius II instead that I may have read years ago. Not to veer off topic, but I saved a wine bottle that actually has a painting with Pius II presenting a bride and groom to each other.

  • "Who is he to judge?"

"Who is he to close doors?"

Who is he to be Pope, really?

    Adam flew a spaceship?

    Yes.  Here's why.

The bible says "There is nothing new under the sun."
Adam was the first man and had the highest intelligence ever.
Ergo, Adam flew the Millenium Falcon because he invented star wars.

    It's simple logic, Watson.   :detective:

  • St. Thomas Aquinas, in Summa Theologica III q. 3 a. 7, "Whether one Divine Person can assume two human natures?," leaves open the possibility that Christ could incarnate in other human (intelligent) natures, although St. Thomas thinks it is improbable:
    Quote
On Whether One Divine Person is Able to Assume Two Human Natures: That which is able [to do something] in one case and not in another has its power limited to one. The power of a divine person is, however, infinite, and it ought not be said that a divine person had assumed one human nature is such a manner that another could not be assumed to its personhood, for that is impossible, because an uncreated thing cannot be comprehended by a created thing. It is manifest therefore that whether we consider the divine person according to power, which is the principle of the union, or according to its personhood which is the term of the union, it must be said that the divine person besides a human nature which it has assumed, is able to assume another numerically different human nature.

Why wouldn't someone who can say "But I want to be baptized!" not be a human (i.e., a descendant of Adam)?

If they were a descendant of Adam, did God go on Mars also and be crucified to redeem them?  Did He, choose a Mother on Mars also to be the Mother of God, so are there several Mother's of God on different planets, or was Mary re-born on each planet.  I wonder now how many queens of Heaven are there?

Francis is a heretic and therefore not a pope.

    Please pray for my soul.

  • I would also like to clarify that Adam did NOT invent 'star trek', which comes straight from satan.

Unless they were Jєωιѕн martians in which case according to Francis there would be no point to it.

Although Gene Roddenberry was an ex-Baptoid secular humanist (atheist), he did think Catholicism was a beautiful religion.

His one and only crucifixion on earth is more than sufficient to redeem all the descendants of Adam, even those who may not live on earth.

I wonder, before the conquistadors' missionary work, if people made your same arguments regarding the "savages" in the "New World." I'm sure they asked: Are they descendants of Adam? Are they intelligent? Do they need baptism? Etc.
