poche is right about this, but Bergoglio must have been looking into a mirror when he said this because he was clearly speaking of himself. In fact, it seems that every time he condemns someone with a pejorative (e.g., Pelagian, superficial Christians, elitist, Sloth-diseased acidic Christians, Smarmy idolator priest, etc.) he's more describing himself rather than those he intends to insult.

TKGS is correct - this latest statement is projection, but intended to continue to isolate those who hold the Faith.
And SG hit the nail - the ʝʊdɛօ masonic forces are using their tried and true tactic of 'isolate and destroy'. It's so ridiculously obvious what he is doing.

Yes. The modernists are in power. Long are the days there were just a small network trying to infiltrate the Vatican, now the modernists are in command of everything, with the Pope himself being one, they are all over Rome like a giant spider web, they don't even need to hide anything anymore.

They are indeed further setting the state for what it is to come. A methodic, gradual, ruthless annihilation of the Catholic Faith and morals. What is worse, it is a systematic frog boiling effect. By the time people realize of what is happening it is already too late. The stage has already been set up, the minds have already been slowly brainwashed. One by one, all Catholic dogmas have been compromised like a deck of cards falling over. The enemies of the Church have complete power. God help us all!

I really can't agree with any of this whole "we are the enemy" line of reasoning.

The revolution in the church was perpetrated by men who had pre-planned it for decades before we were born so there's that. If we are wise to the fact that they are Christ-deniers, do we think Our Lord wants us to deny Him by following them? I think not.

Then there is the whole quoting from the Old Testament - guys, look up those examples. People who are following false shepherds perish along with the false shepherds. People who embrace the falsehood die miserably. The two dudes who held the door open for Daniel and his two pals to be thrown in the oven were killed by the flames. Guys, we perish if we follow falsehood.

The blind, being led by the blind, both fall into the ditch.

This whole line of reasoning that these conciliar popes are punishment from Our Lord sounds like a big excuse to just keep going with the crowd.

Stop mixing and matching quotes from the Old Testament and New Testament as if they were interchangeable - they are not. They are to be studied in context.
