I was in Post Falls last week when +Fellay was there for Confirmations. In his sermon during the Pontifical Mass, he emphatically stated there can be no agreement with Rome until Vatican II and the Novus Ordo "Mass" is done way with. He went on to say that Rome no longer believes EENS and that Rome believes anyone can be saved in any religion. He said there can be no retreat or nor surrender to Rome under these circuмstances.

Now, unless he is the con man of all con men, (and I am pretty good at hearing BS when I hear it), perhaps he knew this announcement was coming and made a preemptive strike. Many approached him after Mass to thank him for such a strongly worded sermon.

My Christian charity requires me to take his words for what they are unless he demonstrates the contrary.

That sermon should have been given years ago before the talks with Rome.

Bergolio has made the Catholic Church the laughing stock of the world.  It is embarrassing to be a Catholic.  Then there is USA “Catholic” President.  Yeah. I’m embarrassed to be Catholic. Many of us are because we know these people are imposters.

The US bishops are always doing damage control.  Maybe he is?  Who knows?

So did Williamson. So did Lefebvre. And so did Fellay himself. All using the well known old modernist canard of "saved in any religion" doesn't mean "saved by that religion."
EENS canards have always been the most reliable indicator, the red flag, at the very least that the person has a chink in his armor. In the case of Abp. L, it is the key to understanding his recorded wavering comments between R&R and sedevacantes. I call them EENS sophists, and if one can say sophisms like ""saved in any religion" doesn't mean "saved by that religion", how can anyone wholeheartedly believe that they mean anything they say about any subject? That is why you will scarcely ever find me debating about EENS with anyone, before I get them to admit exactly what they believe AND it is rare to find one that honestly answers. The truth is that they believe that anyone can be saved in the last second of their life by God, therefore,  "Who knows who is outside of the Church?".

Unfortunately, the dispute between +Fellay's view of EENS and those of the Vatican and Vatican II essentially boils down to Karl Rahner vs. the even more Modernist faction of the Conciliar Church.  Rahner's Anonymous Christianity actually held and was criticized for holding that salvation occurred BECAUSE of Christ, even if it happened outside the Church.  That's no different than +Fellay's position (and that of +Lefebvre) ... salvation by instrumental causality.

There are 2 percent or more in traditional Catholic pews who are for abortion, sodomite rights, etc. 2 percent and growing of people in mortal sin sitting in the pews along with those who are paid to infiltrate the parishes to shut it down from within.
