Francis to abolish motu proprio Summorum Pontificuм

Looks like Frank is moving in on the conservative NO's.

via Rorate Caeli:
An urgent news item by our friends at Messa in Latino, the Pope spoke on the matter yesterday to the Italian bishops during the portion of the Italian Conference of Bishops' meeting in which the assembly was closed to the media:
Quote
It is, for the moment, still fragmentary news, coming from our multiple sources within the CEI [Italian Conference of Bishops] and bishops, but it seems that yesterday (May 24, 2021) the Pope, addressing the Italian bishops at the opening of the annual assembly of the CEI ( and in a subsequent meeting with a group of them), announced the imminent reform for the worse of the Motu proprio Summorum Pontificuм.
...

From what is known, it would be a return to the indult -- with a prior authorization of the bishop [as under the motu proprio Ecclesia Dei], or of the Vatican -- with all that it entails, that is, a reintroduction of the prohibition of the celebration according to the Missal of St John XXIII, so many denials of authorizations, and the ghettoization, in practice, of the priests and faithful attached to the old rite. After Moses, the Liberator, Pharaoh returns. [Source]

This is why there can be NO PEACE with the Conciliar Church UNLESS AND UNTIL they convert back to the Catholic Faith.

We can't place ourselves under their power, even for a day, while Modernism still reigns supreme among the Church authorities.

As long as the war continues, we must fight. No surrender.

ROME must convert. We haven't gone anywhere. We are still Catholic. We are the faithful ones. Rome has gone astray after strange gods.

I suspect that this will put pressure on the SSPX to finally accept the prelature for the sake of all those "attached" to the Latin Mass.

I would not be surprised if the SSPX says "Although the agreement has its issues, we cannot be deaf to the cry of all those Catholic priests and faithful who no  longer have the Latin Mass, we the SSPX Prelature are now the only group that has the guaranteed permission to continue the Latin Mass"

Remember Bishop Fellay's 2016 conference in Australia? He gave away the plan; there will not be any "approved" Latin Masses outside the SSPX Prelature.

Good.  We don't accept the Tridentine Mass being called an "extraordinary" form of the NOM.

Hasn't this been the talk for some time now?  I wonder whether Ratzinger will ever speak up about it, or will Bergoglio wait until he expires.
