If anyone remembers the book AA1025: Memoirs of an Anti-Apostle, they might recall the part where the Communist seminarian decides to try out the seal of confession. He went to confession to one of the priests in charge of the seminary, and told him everything: Who he was, what he was, why he was there and what the plans were. The priest tried to remonstrate with him, but the communist was hard core.
He went on to say how it was with some satisfaction that he later heard how that night after this confession, the priest was known to have been up walking the floor all night.
And the seminarian was never put out.
