Just about to drop you this:

St. Michael the Archangel prayer, short and long versions

The one I posted is different.

I have a pet theory that all of these different versions of the St Michael prayer (including variations of wording in the short, most familiar one in the vernacular) may be the evil one's way of introducing confusion, so that there is no uniformity.  The Latin version of the short prayer is the one I usually say, and it never varies.

I'd fill a super-soaker with holy water and hammer away.  :laugh1:

Seriously, though, assuming he was doing nothing else beforehand, if he then got up to deliver the sermons, I would stand up and try to find a way to succinctly summarize the heresy (since you know you wouldn't last long and would have to get your point across quickly).

So, with regard to the longer St. Michael prayer ... let me ask others first before answering myself ... what is striking about this pasage here?
Quote
These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where the See of Holy Peter and the Chair of Truth has been set up as the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.

I'd have to think about my answer, but I got a chuckle out of some of the options.  I got a good laugh out of Meg's comment, "You might as well ask what we would do if little green men from mars showed up at mass."  I also liked Lad's idea of the super-soaker; the thought of sprinkling holy water on him had already occurred to me, but I didn't think of a good way to get close enough.  :laugh1:  The comment "and your priest seems to be to be allowing it" was part of my difficulty in picturing the scenario & what I'd do, because it's hard to imagine with some Trad priests.  If the priest seemed to be allowing it, maybe I'd stay at least a while out of extreme curiosity as to why.  And in the hope that 2Vermont's conjecture might be the case.

I would leave at the start of his sermon and come back once it was over.
