    ON THE PASSING OF HIS BEATITUDE ANASTAS,
    ARCHBISHOP OF TIRANA DURRËS AND OF ALL ALBANIA

    Having learned of the death of His Beatitude Anastas, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, I wish to express my condolences to you, to the Members of the Holy Synod and to all the priests, monks, nuns and lay faithful of the beloved Orthodox Church of Albania, together with the assurance of my prayers that God our merciful Father may grant him the reward of his labours.

    [What "reward" does Francis imagine heretics/schismatics will receive for their "labours"?]

    The faith of the Orthodox community of Albania was certainly embodied in the life of our dear brother, whose zealous pastoral service helped the people rediscover its richness and beauty following the years of state-imposed atheism and persecution.  In this regard, I have fond memories of my meeting with His Beatitude on my first Apostolic Journey outside of Italy, and I cherish the fraternal embrace and words exchanged on that occasion.

    [To embrace heretics/schismatics and speak with them is a "memory Francis will cherish"]

    Throughout his long life and ministry as a priest and as a bishop, he always manifested a profound dedication to the Gospel, serving and proclaiming the Lord in various geographical and cultural contexts, in Greece, Africa and Albania.  He did so by following the example of Saint Paul, who dedicated himself so much to Christ that he could say, “I have become all things to all people, that I might by all means save some” (1 Cor 9:22).

    [Our Lord said, "He who does not gather with me scatters", but to Francis this heretic/schismatic "served the Lord and proclaimed the Gospel". Francis thinks this heretic/schismatic was following the example of the Great Apostle to the Gentiles - St. Paul.]

    When assuming the responsibility of guiding the Orthodox Church in Albania, he desired to enter deeply into the hearts of those entrusted to his care, especially their traditions and identity, without ever losing communion with the other Orthodox Churches.  At the same time, he also engaged willingly in dialogue and promoted peaceful coexistence with other Churches and religions.

    [Francis praises him for maintaining "communion" with his fellow heretics/schismatics, and being open to "dialoguing" with other religions - maybe Francis will make him a "saint"...]

    When he first arrived in Albania, some priests welcomed him with the Easter greeting in Greek, “Christos Anesti!”  He replied in Albanian manifesting a fervent desire to live with his people and bear witness to the love of God, which overcomes all darkness and oppression, in the midst of those who had suffered greatly.

    [He manifested his desire to "love God"? But there can be no true charity without faith - this is irrelevant to Francis because he lacks that same faith that one would need to have true charity himself]

    Now that his earthly life has come to an end, I pray that, through the mercy of God the Almighty Father, His Beatitude may eternally praise the Blessed Trinity, together with all the confessors of the faith and the pastors who have proclaimed the word of salvation to peoples everywhere and at all times.

    [contra, Cantate Domino, Francis hopes and believes that this heretic/schismatic will praise God eternally in heaven because he has "proclaimed" the same saving message as all the saint confessors/priests.]

    You miss an even more crucial problem here, his use of the term "faithful" for the Orthodox.  I suspect that God will provide some natural rewards (i.e. mitigation of punishment due to sin) for any good works of natural virtue they may have performed during their lives.  Msgr. Fenton had a great article where he expounded that the term "faithful" is a very specific term that even excludes catechumens who profess belief in the truths taught by the Church.

    Then in the paragraph which follows he continues by referring to the "faith of the Orthodox."

    His open rejection/denial of EENS is nothing new and has been his most obvious heresy.  Sadly, the vast majority of Traditional Catholic clergy and faithful do believe that schismatics, heretics, and even infidels can be saved ... so there's nothing they can condemn in this statement, nor in any of the text above, since supernatural faith depends upon sincerity, etc.

    That is always the problem with the Modernists - they can hide behind double-meanings, and ever-changing definitions.

    fideles in Catholic theology always refers to those with supernatural Catholic faith and would never be used of heretics.  Of course, it's true that Bergoglio is an ignoramus and probably has no idea what a theological term even is ... like when he referred to Traditional Catholics as "Pelagians" (which makes no sense at all), when he probably meant something like Jansenists.

    He has no theology at all.  I'm still waiting for you to state which Modernist proposition Jorge adheres to and what are the tenets of Modernism.  You don't even know, but throw the term around believing that just by using it you demonstrate that they're not Catholic.  For you it's clearly quasi-circular term where if you're Conciliar, you're Modernist, and if you're Modernist, then you're not Catholic.  It's just a word you toss around, but you never prove that someone is guilty of Modernist heresy.

    So, Jorge Bergoglio clearly and explicitly denies EENS dogma, has consistently done so for decades, and even chuckled about it when he said that it "might be heretical" but then didn't care.  So that's one example of heresy.  Just saying the word "Modernist" doesn't suffice.

    Nor can you put Schneider and Bergoglio in the same group ... as Schneider clearly professes the Catholic faith whereas Jorge doesn't and he doesn't care.

    Glad that you realize that Johannes is not a sock puppet of mine. The very thought!

    He's not the only one, however, who discredits sedevacantism. You have done a good job of that yourself.
