We are still awaiting your apology, RomanCatholic1953, for posting such an anti-Catholic video and for starting such an ignorant thread.
DOLORES
I have absolutely no intentions of apologizing to you and anyone else for this thread.
The video speaks the truth. Those Cardinals were singing songs to LUCIFER, the prince
of the underworld.
And, they knew whom they were singing to.
I have a collection of Catholic pre vatican 2 hymnals. And Altar Missals. LUCIFER cannot
be found in the Latin.
After all, Our Lady said at Lasallette said that ROME WILL LOSE THE FAITH AND BECOME
THE SEAT OF THE ANTICHRIST.
I need an apology from you DOLORES.
Your ignorance is astounding. What's more, your defense of a blatantly anti-Catholic video borders scandle and sin.
I suggest you look much more closely at all of your pre-Vatican 2 items because your are very wrong. Specifically, look at the Exsultet (Easter Proclamation). The Latin word "lucifer" appears twice in this holy and traditional hymn, and is a reference to the morning star (Christ), not to the devil. I also suggest you look at the Second Epistle Of Saint Peter, chapter 1, verse 19:
et habemus firmiorem propheticuм sermonem cui bene facitis adtendentes quasi lucernae lucenti in caliginoso loco donec dies inlucescat et lucifer oriatur in cordibus vestris
Again, the Latin word "lucifier" is used as a reference to the morning star (Christ), and not to the devil.
It is only in the English language that the word "lucifer" has become synonymous with the devil. For goodness sake, there are two saints that bear the name Lucifer: Saint Lucifer of Cagliari and Saint Lucifer of Siena.
This board deserves an apology from you for your posting, and filthy defense of, a horribly anti-Catholic video; the men in the video deserve an apology from you for accusing them of singing to the devil (when in fact they were singing a holy and traditional hymn); and you, RomanCatholic1953, need to stop with these terrible posts.
I suggest to Matthew that you be banned until you can recognize the errors of your ways and offer the appropriate apologies.
