  • I'm sorry, but Father Pfeiffer's "arguments" against sedevacantism are, to put it mildly, inexplicably terrible.  I have no words.

  • Father Pfeiffer claims that Francis (et al.) must be in the Church because if he were outside the Church he would not be able to use his papal authority to destroy the faith.

Talk about turning papal infallibility absolutely UPSIDE DOWN.  I'm sorry, Father Pfeiffer, but it's almost diabolical.

  • His arguments about why sedeplenists and sedevacantists can't work together are also just downright stupid.

  • There  very well may be high volumes of mercury in the Kentucky drinking water
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • Archbishop Lefebvre used to ask how the authority of the Pope could destroy the Church?

Father Pfeiffer now claims that it's only the authority of the Pope that could destroy the Church.

So could not the "appearance of authority" be responsible for the destruction?

  • The most evil person alive can be a valid Pope (a killer of babies with concubines).  But a public heretic (schismatic or apostate as well) cannot even if his moral life is most exemplary.  A key distinction that needs to be understood.

A valid Pope can kill a baby and secretly worship the devil but he can't teach that there will not be a physical resurrection of bodies at the end of time for instance.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." You made a good point
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

Thanks!  I played devil's advocate to the hilt before allowing myself to embrace SV.  I had to be 100% sure.
