To quote Mark Twain, "“It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.”
That certainly can be applied to Catholics today! Do we have that fight in us to continue to die to ourselves, our passions, to the world? Do we have that fight in us to do all we can to get to heaven? Do we have that fight in us to be totally obedient to Almighty God, to His Catholic Church and His true shepherds given to us today with His Bishops and Priests? Do we have that fight in us to defend our Faith against those who wish to destroy it, always in charity?
It doesn't matter that you see the world look to the false religion that Vatican II has spawned as the Catholic religion. It doesn't matter that the world looks at "pope" Francis as some great Catholic and a true Pope, or that your local Novus Ordo churches with their "bishops" and "priests" pretend to be true Catholic shepherds of the true Catholic Church. It doesn't matter in that what really matters is to look to yourself and see if you are living your Catholic Faith as every Catholic has done for 2000 years irregardless of the pagan world they would happen to be living in at the time. Yes, we are small in number compared to the pagans, heretics, schismatics, lukewarm Catholics, false Catholics.....but we are like that frog in the picture. We will fight to the end to persevere in the Faith, to die with Supernatural Faith, Supernatural Charity and in a state of grace no matter what is thrown at us. By God's Grace we can! We will not compromise! We will not change the Catholic Faith to suit our wants, to suit the world! We will not accept others who do as true shepherds for our souls!
Holy Mother Church every year, from
the feast of St Peter's Chair at Rome on
January 18, to the feast of the Conversion of
St. Paul on January 25, we observe a special
week of prayer for the conversion of non-Catholics
to the Catholic Faith. Pray everyday for your perseverance, pray everyday for the conversion of all in the world, including those who are in the Novus Ordo, to the one, true Faith, the Catholic Faith! It is that fight in us that compels us to this great work for the salvation of souls no matter what the cost! Especially for our own soul!
