  • He should be conditionally re-ordained if he joins either of those 2 organizations.

Either one IMO.  I say SSPX because he would have absolutely no clue what the Resistance is unless he understood SSPX first.  Jumping from Novus Ordo to Resistance is extremely unlikely.

  • Knowing him personally, this was the man who I confessed to for circa 3 years. He is a good man, I certainly pray that he be re-ordained (not conditionally as some might suggest). I certainly pray that he follows that path of truth, which has led him out of the Novus disordo since a while ago.

He is a man that has the spirit of God (I have hardly seen anyone be so faithful to prayer truly inspiring & edifying), and it amazes me just how far he has traveled on the path of Catholic doctrine. He started out as a charismatic, I remember him showing me some photos doing a "beach mass." This is what good will and prayers of the faithful do. No one desires that those wonderful souls who wanted to follow the calling of Christ, be stuck in a schismatic sect. There is not a shadow of a doubt in my mind, that his calling is that of a priest. It is not his fault, that Montini made them null and void (most of the sacraments, if he did not outright destroy them he lessened the grace received by them such as eliminating the rite of exorcism in baptism etc...).

Yes, pray very much! I did not even know this happened! This is excellent news, I think that sabbatical might serve him some good. The local heretic in chief here in El Paso, certainly doesn't like him. I know this for a fact personally, it is obvious that the religion Mr. Michael Rodriguez professes is alien to that of the "bishop."

If there ever was a time to pray! It is now, oremus       . Once he gets ordained a priest, he will truly be a great priest. I can die a happy man, if he does this. Never have I desired so much something as this. Veni sancte Spiritus... Fill him with the spirit of wisdom and understanding. Amen.

    Thank you for posting this!

Knowing him personally, he is already more Resistance than the neo-SSPX is. His problem at this point is not theological, but rather something else.

Imagine yourself having worked under the Vatican II sect for more then half of your life. We do not even have the slightest idea, of how just difficult it is to leave after having been so intimately connected with the Vatican II sect.

Mr. Michael Rodriguez stopped being Novus Ordo a long time ago. I know this first hand, sitting from the pew listening to his preaching for a long time. At this point we should pray that grace lead Him towards the truth, and he will be guaranteed true peace. The whole Crisis has really bothered him for a long long time, its been a gradual process for him, but he is as close as it will ever get from possibly making the jump. Once again, just put yourselves in his shoes and realize how difficult it is. The amount of good that he can do, by giving testimony of the Catholic faith against the onslaught of heretics could do so much good. Remember he already has national press, and he is already really famous here locally. He certainly is a manly man, and he had courage to stand up to the local heretics against the sodomite agenda. Btw, he understands the SSPX quite well. I know this first hand, having heard it explained to a friend of mine who is in the FSSP who was ranting against me for 4 hours on a trip to Shafter against the SSPX. Then when we arrived, everything I had told my friend, Mr. Michael Rodriguez backed up every single word I said.

The reason why I gave a comment  :geezer:, is that given to the personal nature and the intimacy that I have on the subject. I certainly feel qualified to give an honest response about the subject. You might be right, he might never make the jump. I don't doubt it, but you can well be sure that he has thought about it a million times. I certainly pray, that he just listen to his intellect rather than any emotions. I know if he followed what he understands already, he will make the right choice. Sometimes we have to make a choice, and the good thing is that the line is being drawn in the sand now. Let us see, if he follows the path of the saints and carry his huge cross that he will be burdened with.

He is well informed about both. I do not think that either are options.

What do you mean here mate? You mean personally you don't see either options as Catholic, or that Mr. Rodriguez won't choose either of them?

Its a bit ambiguous what you said, and since I am not familiar with your postings, I might misunderstand what you were trying to say. Thanks, for the clarification.

  • Here's his last sermon.

Very good except for his over-emphasis of obedience.

If anyone comes across an update, please post.

  • He doesn't specifically say that all of the Catholics in this small West Texas town should become home-aloners, but you could conclude that from his sermon. I hope they've sought out a new priest.
