  • Earlier this year (and possibly later - I never checked to see what he further posted), Fr. Kramer greatly emphasized that antipope Frank would resign sometime before the end of 2016, "according to insiders" with whom he is "in contact". He mentioned it a number of times on his Facebook.

We have roughly 3 weeks left of 2016.

I just wanted to remind all of Fr. Kramer's followers who compartmentalize a lot of things that are told to them, and ignore things that don't come true after they believe it.  :furtive:
Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

  • I believe it was contingent on him going to Argentina, and then that trip got cancelled, so things can change. I am not defending Fr. Kramer I am just saying that the plan changed.

  • His prediction makes more sense now that the 4 cardinals' dubia is public.

  • There are three weeks left. A lot can happen in three weeks. Personally, I don't see a resignation. I don't see an answer. The results of that strategy will be a problem in a year's time or someone else. Brazening it out is a speciality of Pope Francis. Recall the appointment of the very dubious Bishop Barros to the diocese of Osorno in Chile. The Pope thought nothing of mocking the concerned locals who came to remonstrate with him in some way.

  • It would be very inconsiderate for any pope to announce his resignation during Advent when Catholics are preparing for Christmas. Benedict XVI as I recall, made the announcement on February 11th, which is after Epiphany.
That way, coping with the news could be an added penance for Lent!

But being inconsiderate is surely his wont. Many of us would consider it a great early Christmas gift.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

  • During this brief few years of Francis at the helm, several older Cardinals have passed the age of eligibility for voting at the conclave, and Francis has elevated 17 new Cardinals, all of whom are holders of extremely liberal views.  Only the most liberal bishops were given the red hat under Francis.  This stacks the conclave even more in the direction that led to his own election.  Therefore if he steps down in the manner of Benedict XVI, we can reasonably expect him to be replaced by someone who makes his zany extremism appear to be child's play by comparison.

  • If they keep it up, they could end up with more popes emeritus than they have cardinals voting for them.

    THEN what?

  • Can someone tell Fr. Kramer that having "contacts" within the Vatican is like having contacts within the world's most corrupted prison system. I don't trust anything coming out of Rome right now and I'm not magically going to believe something because it was filtered through Fr. Kramer.

The worst case scenario is that one of these days the info is right, and Fr. Kramer gets to be a new fake Trad point man.
