  • hmmm, as if any NO cancelled priests were "trained at all in philosophy or theology".  Novus Ordo formation in those areas is an absolute joke.

This makes me wonder if Fr. Lovell was confusing +Vigano with +Gracida, since the latter is the bishop rumored to have conferred the conditional ordinations at Gibon's ranch.  There was a rumor that +Vigano had ordained a Dom Alcuin Reid, but Reid himself denied it.  Other rumors are that it was either +Burke or even +Mueller who ordained him.

    You may be correct.

It has always struck me odd that, upon reception into the Catholic Church as a clergyman of the Anglican communion, Dr. Marshall opted not to pursue ordination to the Catholic priesthood nor has he sought to join the Angkican-use Ordinariate of St. Peter as he is entitled to do. Rather, he goes about as a laymen with news and online educational apostolates whilst attending Mass at a church if the FSSP. Very odd!

  • Is this about some of these priests getting conditionally ordained ? It appears that Mel Gibson may be footing a lot of the expenses for the coalition of cancelled priests and may have some personal motives for encouraging re- ordination .. maybe that’s why Vigano is steering clear of them . I think it’s great if they do ( get conditionally ordained) . I wonder if this Lovell priest is resisting reordination … hmmm . Just speculating.

Not sure, but Lovell said that their coalition broke with +Vigano because the latter ordained unqualified priests ... except it sounds like he's confusing +Vigano with +Gracida, since +Gracida is the one who was rumored to have performed the conditional ordinations at Gibson's place.
