Prevost already has a connection to the SSPX. Since 6 Feb 2025, he's been the titular cardinal bishop of the Suburbicarian Diocese of Albano. Albano is where Italy's SSPX district house is. He's given a homily in Albano, too, according to LifeNews.
The connection might be tenuous. Who knows if he visited Fr. Pagliarani, but it's possible.

Very weak link, but something to keep an eye out for as they possible finish the regularization.  Heck Leo might "consecrate" the bishop for them personally.
