    Nothing in itself...I just think it will surprise some. Others will take Fr. Cekada to task...but I will need to see him refuted because his argument seems airtight to me.

    And what problem will that solve?

    It's understandable that many Trads bought into this argument because there seems to be no way that a true pope would do what Paul VI did. However, in perpetuity just means the law will continue with no definite end date. It does not mean it can never be changed.
    It would be comparatively easy for us to be holy if only we could always see the character of our neighbours either in soft shade or with the kindly deceits of moonlight upon them. Of course, we are not to grow blind to evil
