Three Sundays ago, the sermon was on "Texting Appropriately", two Sundays ago was about "Mere Externals", and this past Sunday was about "Anger".
Oddly enough, I had just sent a text to a friend DAYS before the sermon on texting. Now, I cannot go into it all, but the likelihood that this friend SHARED the text with Bp Dolan is about ZERO. Why the sermon on texting? Who preaches about such, and, isn't it just a co-inky-dink that it came RIGHT AFTER a text that spoke of things that would not flatter Bp Dolan?
As the sgg.org/cult damage control squad is spinning it that those who oppose them are merely angry, even rage-filled nut jobs, the sermon on anger is pretty obvious. Now, I understand that some might think such observations are the height of self-absorption, etc., but this is how the cult at SGG operates. MANY know Bp Dolan speaks to people through sermons - it is a passive/aggressive thing, as is his not driving himself anywhere (he has NO license), yet inconveniencing people in order to get around a modern American city. Rather than deal head-on with things, they use sermons to address internal issues, etc. It is a truly mental place.
Btw, what red-blooded American male does NOT drive himself around? If I need the last rites, and Fr C is in FL teaching, is it not insane that all should be delayed by the fact that a layman must be awakened, get dressed, go get Bp Dolan, and then bring him to me? Yes, Fr Ramolla is now there most of the time, but that has not been the case during the majority of the last 25+ years.
