  • What do you do on Sundays? Can you share with me specific devotions that you do? Do you read about a saint? Sing? Do you have a CD of music that you play? A religious craft with your children?

  • Thankfully I've not had to stay home due to no TLM for many years now, but when the revolution first took over, we stayed home, read the Mass in it's entirety best as we could from our missal, took our spiritual communion and generally did what we could to keep the day holy. Pray the rosary etc.

Often my mom read us stories of saints, catechism, practiced our Latin etc.. Occasionally my parents would tell us stories about when they were young and the way the Church and society used to be when they were growing up in the 40s - fascinating stuff.

One major thing was and, as a result, still is, is to stay far away from the NO, no matter what. No matter what.

  • Pray the Mass in the Missal.  Pray the Divine Office.  Read the commentaries on the readings of the day.  Pray the full Rosary.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church
