  • Over 80% of all priest sɛҳuąƖ allegations are over 20 years old. A lot of the priests long dead. No evidence against them. Over 50% of them are probably false claims to receive large cash settlements an FBI agent testified in Los Angeles two years ago.

Being ignored is the fact that currently, there are a large number of female teachers being caught "doing it" with their students. The cases are being trivialized and minimized.

Yet, allegations against priests keep being dredged up.

When a priest is caught it is called "molestation" and "abuse".

When a teacher is caught it is called a "sɛҳuąƖ relationship".

In many cases involving female teachers the students are being painted as the abuser. Take a case where a married teacher with three minor children of her own admits to abusing a 12yo boy- the boy is demonized at her sentence hearing. I will post the link to that case in a post below.

    Quote
The 32-year-old was a sixth-grade teacher at Garden Grove elementary School in Simi Valley when she was arrested and charged with charged with one count of a lewd act upon a child, one count of oral copulation of a person under 14 and three counts of genital penetration by a foreign object with a person under 14 years of age when the suspect is more than 10 years older than the victim.

Prosecutors say the married mother-of-two had sex with the student earlier this year. Her attorney, Ron Bamieh, says Brooks suffered a 'manic episode' brought on by memories of teenage abuse.

    UK DAILY MAIL

Notice how the article says she "had sex" with the kid. It is not "molestation" or "rape". I have seen articles where the kid is the victimizer.

The boy is painted as being "older than his years". She was caught after the mother of one of the boy's friends overheard the kid bragging about the sex acts.

  • Wish I hadn't read that one.  Descriptions a bit graphic don't you think?

    Those were the charges listed.

The point is the prosecutors were quoted as saying she "had sex" with the kid.

It would have been described a little differently if a priest had been involved.

That is the point of the thread.

  • Female abusers are always given much leeway. Which is a horrifying sin because it means that the male victims will basically be left out in the cold as far as counseling goes.
Thats what happened to my brother. We girls got loads of free counseling and tons of support, but they all viewed my brother as a complicit participant and damaged goods. There was nothing for him, not even a share of sympathy. It is a travesty of justice.

Being treated that way by an adult makes a child feel less than human. To be degraded in that way is probably one of the worst sins against a child that a person could inflict. And male victims are routinely made to feel as though they had control of the situation the entire time. It is a pathetic response to the victim and the offender.
    Matthew 6:34
" Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof."

Also, even if every one of the allegations were true, there would still be less abuse in a church of 1.2 billion than there is in the general population of the united states public school system. That takes the sting right out of the whole argument, which is why no one ever hears that.

Statistically, married protestant ministers have a much higher rate of accusations against them than celibate Catholic priests. This according to independent insurance industry statistics. Yes, the cover ups are there too, and it is much easier for them to cover it up.

My step aunt was caught in the act of sɛҳuąƖly abusing her son, my cousin. I was 13 at the time. To this day I do not know what criminally happened to her. Only that it led to a divorce with the father getting custody.
