Poster (Baskerville) notes this as a personal observation:
So I went to the NO Church today to see if the Priest would mention the Priest that wore the prayer shawl and here's what he said in his homily.(for those of you who attend the real Mass todays Conciliar Church reading was the parable of the pharisee and tax collector)
"Priest": "Its providential that today we hear of the Pharisee and Tax collector. It has come to my attention that we have some pharisees in this Parish. Fr Drummond celebrated Mass last week and some took offense at his wearing of a prayer shawl the very type of shawl Jesus wore. It seems to me that many of them pointed their fingers and said thank god I am not as him. To take offense at this is not just being like the pharisee but antisemitic. And if antisemitism is what you want we have a Latin Mass just 20 minutes out of town where you would be welcomed. Then he went on to talk about not welcoming the migrant worker and denying women and gαys ordination makes people like the pharisee.
I got up and left after that then went up Rattlesnake creek with my brother skeet shooting pretending the discs were the "Priests" head.

The "fruit" of Vat II. Warped priests.
-
Judaizers who don't believe in anything and who accuse everyone with faith of being pharisees are the ultimate pharisees.

Wasn't that a heresy in the early Church? It is being resurrected across the board - no matter where you go. I have never seen any one group so appeased by people as they are.

That is gravely sinful -- to fantasize about shooting a priest in the head, even if you're just frustrated and not likely to act on it. That isn't a Catholic attitude.
A couple of quotes from Our Lord comes to mind, "You know not of what spirit you are." and "I say to you that whosoever lusts after a woman has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
This is another good example of how the Crisis has messed up countless people -- even among those who oppose the destruction of the Faith.

For those who are not familiar with the Neocatechumenal Way. A heresy spawned by the father of lies and implemented by satan's workers Kiko Arguello and Carmen Hernandez. This heresy is one of the main forces judaizing the Church. "Pharisee" is a word they frequently throw at those outside the Neocatechumenal Way. The two priests look to be tainted by the NCW to some extent.
The Neocatechumenal Way, a religious association in the Church for post-baptismal catechesis, celebrates its liturgies ONLY on the Saturday Hebrew Sabbath. A menorah candle burns on the altar and the congregation dances the Jєωιѕн mishna around the altar at the end of the liturgy.

How about the Moss brother and sister act and their friends?
Again, was this not a huge problem in the early Church or not?

If they are part of the movement to "re-introduce" Jєωιѕн practices into liturgical and/or Catholic life, I would say that no this is not good.
And yes, judaizing was a big, big problem at one time in the Church. We are seeing a "revival" of this along with other heresies promoted by the NCW.

Are you a former neocat?

Are you a former neocat?
I am one who has recognized evil for what it is.

That's evasive.

Baskerville is hilarious.
Skeet shooting...lol
I think he was being charitable calling the guy a "priest" by the way.

I wonder now! Would it also be a sin to imagine burning the heretics at the stake. :heretic:

Yes.
Remember I said Belloc was a little cranky. You have to admit the post Pius IX atmosphere is pretty toxic. Lies are the root of Violence, as Fr. Miceli noted in his book. THat is the Apocalypse - the unveiling of all the lies which requires a whole lot of grace to keep from flipping your lid and going postal.
I think those Benedictines knew what they were doing. Their quiet peaceful atmosphere as compared to the madness of the Vatican and the World. That Orthodox monk seemed to be on the same vibe too.
