    • I just read on another site that someone is not a sedevacantist because of Fatima.  Does anyone know why Fatima would be a reason against sedevacantism?

    • Because one of the messages of Fatima says that the Pope will consecrate Russia and that will be followed with a period of peace. If there is no Pope, then how can the non-existent Pope consecrate Russia?

    Interesting.  Why couldn't it be support for the SV position?  That when we do have a true pope he will consecrate Russia.  Perhaps the reason the consecration hasn't happened is because we haven't had a true pope to do so.
