  • I just was talking to a friend who informed me that someone is emailing Father Robinson with mean emails.  This is not Catholic.

Father Robinson is a Catholic priest and deserves respect.

We should be praying for all priests.

This upsetting.   We want nothing to do with anyone who is mean, rotten and toxic.

May God bless you and keep you

  • Father Robinson is one of my favorite priests.  Whoever is sending him malicious emails should stop and repent.

  • Do you mean Father Kevin Robinson? If you mean Father Kevin Robinson, he was my priest for more than a year. I liked him, except that on a few occasions he spoke out against Bishop Williamson and the resistance. I hope whoever is sending him mean emails stops.
    R.I.P.
Please pray for the repose of my soul.

  • Most likely it is from resistance members from Philadelphia.

He was so upset that he gave a talk last Sunday in regards the nasty emails and the resistance.
May God bless you and keep you

  • I can't imagine what kind of mean emails Fr. Robinson would warrant. I met him a few years ago, spoke with him a few times and assisted at his masses for a while and he was an excellent priest, holy and very nice too.

What is wrong with some people?!  Regardless of one's opinion of Fr. Robinson, regardless of whether Fr. Robinson is holy or perverse, the sending of cruel and anonymous emails to any priest is NOT right.  If this individual purport to be supporting the Resistance, know that your actions do the Resistance no favors, rather, make everyone associated look bad.  May I suggest to this person, if he reads CI, that he be man (or woman) enough to identify himself to Fr. Robinson.  Try to work things out.  If not possible, go your separate ways.  Remember, liberals and modernists fight dirty; Catholics are honest and open.

Two thoughts occur to me, also.  One, the emailer could be a troll, either SSPX appointed or, more likely, self-appointed.  Two, if not a troll, the person is exceedingly immature, and should probably be ignored as he will eventually get tired of receiving no response.

Fr. Robinson, if you read this post, I'm sorry to hear about this, and will pray for you and the cyber-bully.

  • Recently I was rushed to the ER & hospitalized.  I live a minimum of 3 hours away from our priory, and when my husband called the priory requesting for a priest to come to the hospital because they were unable to stabilize my vitals and did not know if I was coming or going.  The priest was hesitant to come down because he could not ascertain from my husband if I was truly dying.  Needless to say, my husband was dismayed and told the priest that once he gets more certainty about my "dying", then, he would call back.

So my husband scrambled to get in touch with Fr. Robinson, since he has always been very sincere.  And thank God he did because Fr. Robinson immediately offered to come and bring me the Sacraments, he also took the time to talk and advise my husband on what to do while waiting as it would take several hours to get to the hospital.  During their conversation, my husband was informed of how my vitals had stabilized, and they could now start trying to get me better.  So my husband let Fr. Robinson know so he would not have to come anymore, and told him he would call if my situation took a turn for the worse.  Fr. Robinson insisted to come anyway, but my husband said we should wait a few hours to see if there is any improvement with my situation.

My point is, Fr. Robinson was a true priest, who did not hesitate to administer the Sacraments when called to do so.

I have met Fr. Robinson and agree with you.  He loves the Catholic Faith. Even if he is wrong on he current issues afflicting the Church.

  • Father Robinson cares about helping the truly poor and needy.
He went out of his way to make sure a poor man received a proper burial.

He is making sure that the homeschoolers are getting an education.

He and others help bring the Archbishop LeFebvre movie to a public movie theatre to help bring people to the true Catholic faith.

May God bless you and keep you

    Tiffany,

I agree, I personally know priests validly ordained who are under the Novus Ordo structure but still profess the Catholic Faith.

From my experience many adhere to the Conciliar church only because they falsely believe it is the Church, not because they are heretics.
