  • Reflecting on the collect of the Mass for the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Cardinal Robert Sarah, the prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, said in a brief article that the sacred liturgy is a treasure that is not ours, but something “received through pure grace.”

A humble attitude in the presence of this treasure leads priest and people alike to fulfill liturgical norms, he continued.

The liturgy is not a toy t be played with. It doesn't belong to us.

  • Actions speak so much louder than words.

The New Vatican frequently publishes words to which the "conservatives" can point and say that nothing has changed.  Then, the New Vatican does exactly the opposite to which the "liberals" can point and celebrate the fact that all is new and that the words must mean something else entirely from what they would ordinarily seem to mean.

The photo above, along with the numerous videos of Bergoglio's services over the years speak so much louder than what appears to be a routine comment calming someone's fears by a cardinal who, by the very nature of the Novus Ordo, oversees the use of the Mass as a plaything by liturgists all over the world.

Is this a case of "Do as I say and not as I do" or "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain"?  The disconnect between what is written and what is done is so striking.  Yet so many people are fooled every single day.

All the more reason to pray for the Pope.

  • Certainly the so-called St.John-Paul II made the liturgy a play thing.
Caused many to ceased attending mass.
