  • You can't make this stuff up.

This is insanity. Accepting some of the migrants (as in, a small several-hundred-strong quotient) is fine. If they want the entire country of Syria to come to Europe as the EU seems to want, then they must accept Christ. Muslim immigrants have no right to Europe in large, game breaking quotients like this. God help us.
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary...

    Poche is right, guys!

This female bishop is a walking, talking advertisement of mockery of Our Lord.  Any church she considers a church is really a despicable place.

FYI someone doesn't have to be a "dyke bishop" to make a stir in this department.

A few short years ago, the County of Los Angeles, California, quietly appropriated a pile of money in multiple millions of dollars to take down all the County Seals and replace them with new ones.  It was never put up for vote and the citizens never heard "boo" about it until the program was nearly completed.

The only difference between the old seal and the new one was the following:

On the old seal, a front view of a typical California Mission (there are 21 of them, begun by Fr. -now saint- Junipero Serra, and associates) was topped by a CROSS.  This is historically justified by the fact that the very first thing to be erected at a new mission site was the Mission Cross, where the padres said Mass daily, until the Mission was built.

On the new seal, everything is identical EXCEPT the CROSS atop the Mission has been removed.

So don't think it's not a threat or it can't happen.  It happened here.

The linked article has some good points to ponder:

    Quote

Robert Spencer, an Islam expert and blogger at Jihad Watch, said “this is what a society and culture in the midst of ѕυιcιdє looks like.”

“How wonderful and generous and ecuмenical and multicultural this is,” Spencer wrote.

Spencer suggested that imams in Stockholm and across Europe are likely laughing at the ease with which Christians there are willing to surrender to Islam.

“Watch for mosques everywhere to remove their mihrabs and install crosses so that Christians will feel comfortable praying there,” Spencer said with biting sarcasm.

It doesn't matter where I live. If the Commisioners of the County of Los Angeles want to redraw their seal to create an inaccurate image of their community then I thinhk the historical innacuracy should be noted.

It doesn't matter?  So the fact that you don't live in Los Angeles makes you an expert on what happens in Los Angeles?

    Get lost.

What I wrote is the truth, and what you see on various websites if it's different, is just nonsense.  If you want to believe what they say,  go ahead.  You can be part of the problem, then, like you are on other threads too.

  • You can probably count on 2 fingers the number of times that I have defended Poche, but I think he is saying the seal without the cross is historically inaccurate.

    That is correct.
