Due to the crisis in the church, are our prayers being heard?

  • This has bothered me since I encountered the novus ordo mess in 1978. I have wondered if God and the saints hear our prayers. Are we on hold?

My lifelong goal was to get my parents back into the church. My dad was happy with the Eastern Catholic parish I found. He visited once, and parted in peace with God. He died shortly after. My mom preceded him.

Is it too much to ask for the church to be restored? Before I die? Lord, have mercy on us.

  • Our Lady told us that if Russia weren't consecrated that there would be problems.  People in Africa, the Middle East and China are being martyred for the Faith.  Many people in Europe and America have stopped going to church and no longer believe in God.  If you have the True Mass and are keeping the Faith, you are highly blessed.

I believe we are living through the end of the 5th Age of the Church, with the glorious 6th age just around the corner.  Don't give up hope!  God has a fantastic plan to resurrect the Church and the Faith will come back!

  • I used to think it would be restored in my life time, but I gave up thinking that a long time ago as it just keeps getting worse and worse. There's of course always hope, but this crisis also might go on and last another 100 years - or more. We can still and are even still expected to make it to heaven.

  • This is a great little book which TAN printed a while ago.  You can read it online.  "Catholic Prophecy: The Coming Chastisement" by Yves Dupont.  It sounds ominous but it is full of hope.

    https://archive.org/stream/CatholicProphecy/CatholicProphecy_djvu.txt

    A few highlights:

Bl. Mary of Agreda ( 17th century) . "It was revealed to me that through the intercession of the Mother of God all heresies will disappear. The victory over heresies has been re-
served by Christ for His Blessed Mother. In the latter days, the Lord will in a special manner spread the renown of His Mother. Mary began salvation, and by her intercession it will
be completed. Before the second coming of Christ, Mary, more than ever, must shine in mercy, might, and grace in order to bring unbelievers into the Catholic faith. The power
of Mary in the latter days will be very conspicuous. Mary will extend the reign of Christ over the heathens and the Mohammedans, and it will be a time of great joy when Mary is en-
throned as Mistress and Queen of Hearts.

    Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser (17th century)-
"During the fifth period, we saw only calamities and devastation; oppression of Catholics by tyrants and heretics; executions of Kings, and cօռspιʀαcιҽs to set up republics. But, by the Hand of God Almighty, there occurs so wondrous a change during the sixth period that no one can humanly visualize it.  (my emphasis)

"The sixth period of the Church will begin with the powerful Monarch and the Holy Pontiff, as mentioned previously, and it will last until the revelation of Antichrist. In this period, God will console His Holy Church for the affliction and great tribulation which she has endured during the fifth period. All nations will become Catholic. Vocations will be abundant as never before, and all men will seek only the Kingdom of God and His justice. Men will live in peace, and this will be granted because people will make their peace with God. They will live under the protection of the Great Monarch and his successors.

  • My understanding is that Pius XII Consecrated Russia already... Do you know better than the Pope??
    Yep, clear as mud

List of Papal Consecrations to the Immaculate Heart
There have been at least 7 consecrations by Popes to the Immaculate Heart:
    1) On October 31 1942, Pope Pius XII performed the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the entire world.
    2) On July 7 1952, Pope Pius XII consecrated the Peoples of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by his apostolic letter Sacro Vergente Anno. Pius XII stated:
    Quote
Just as a few years ago We consecrated the entire human race to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, so today We consecrate and in a most special manner We entrust all the peoples of Russia to this Immaculate Heart.”
    3) On November 21, 1964 Pope Paul VI renews, in the presence of the Fathers of the Vatican Council but without their participation, the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart.
    4) On May 13, 1982 Pope John Paul II invites the bishops of the world to join him in consecrating the world and with it Russia to the Immaculate Heart. Many do not receive the invitation in time for the Pope’s trip to Fatima, where he accomplishes the consecration. Sr. Lucia later says it did not fulfill the conditions.
    5) In October 1983 Pope John Paul II, at the Synod of Bishops, renews the 1982 Consecration.
    6) On March 25, 1984 Pope John Paul II, “united with all the pastors of the Church in a particular bond whereby we constitute a body and a college,” consecrates “the whole world, especially the peoples for which by reason of their situation you have particular love and solicitude.”
On August 29, 1989 Sr. Lucia affirms in correspondence that the consecration of Russia “has been accomplished” and that “God will keep His word.”
    Subsequent events:
November 9, 1989 Fall of the Berlin Wall
December 25, 1991 Dissolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
July 26, 2000 Third Secret of Fatima revealed by Cardinals Bertone and Ratzinger

    7) On October 13, 2013, Pope Francis consecrates the world to the Immaculate Heart.

This I believe because I have already seen it in action. A Muslim convert to Eastern Catholicism who says she converted due to Our Lady. Not only her, but members of her family. Thanks for the link.

  • There is such a thing as "time" where God is, which boggles my mind to think of the nonexistence of time.
Just think about how long God's chosen people had to wait for their Messiah, and when He came, they did not recognize him.
I hope that will not be the case for us since it is so important to be a member of His Church but His Church is so hard to find these days.  Pray for His Mercy and Justice God that will end this crisis soon.
    Please pray for my soul.

Mud is kind of hard to see through-- possibly water would be a better term. In any case, those who continue the ' Consecrate Russia & the world will be saved' manta should note the above citations by Pius XII

  • Our Lady was known for saying that Pope Pius did the consecration in "half-measure".  Sr. Lucia said, that these were Our Lady's words.  IMO the consecration never took place.  It shows how the hierarchy was, Marxist.

  • Our Lady spoke of Pope Pius XII as Pope.  He was referred to as pope.  But we know that the cardinal nominated for Pope (before Pius X) was a Freemason. Nomination stopped and Pope Pius X was pope.  When Our Lady asked for the Bishops to join in Consecration of Russia, they were not invited in, at one point.  And in another attempt Pope Pius XII consecrated the world, not (Russia).  Wow!  So, done in "half-measure".  Hm?!
