Has anyone noticed that Bp. Dolan has been doing some "damage control" the past few weeks since Bp. Sanborn's video attacking him? All of a sudden, Bp. Dolan's Sunday sermons (which anyone can listen to at the SGG site) have become quite syrupy and schmaltzy, almost like a conservative Novus Ordo "homily".

All of a sudden he went from giving his usually very strong Sunday sermons (that always touched on very significant Traditional Catholic topics concerning the faith and the outside world) to subjects such as "Confidence," "Kindness," and "Cheerfulness" (and even drawing these subjects out to several weeks at a time).

Has anyone else noticed this? In my opinion, the sermons have taken too sudden of change in significant topics and quality for it to be merely "coincidental." I think it has to be some sort of "damage control"
You mean he actually started preaching on topics that help to save our souls, rather than Trump, jabs, and "Resets"?

There has to be a balance between preaching about current events and preaching on how to save one's soul. Priests should ring the alarms when the enemy is at the gate; that doesn't mean that every sermon has to be about the fake pandemic.
