As to the whole "redemption" vs "salvation" kerfuffle, I'll give you some of my own thoughts:
Although I perceive the Chair of St. Peter vacant, I will give "Francis" his due. What he spoke of about redemption is quite true, although any basic classical protestant child would have been taught the same thing.
Protestantism and "Novus Ordoism" is obsessed with spiritual INFANTILISM. The concept of Sin, Salvation, Merits, Penance, etc. has no meaning at all - NOTHING!. The followers of these two heretical religions are completely stumped and dumb-founded at the concept of our subornation to God Almighty in today's world. Belief in girly cherubs, "our Pal and buddy, Jesus", fellowship with other human beings takes priority. This is THE RELIGION OF MAN. Man is Supreme. Man IS GOD! This is the belief and the FAITH of the man and person who currently occupies the Holy Throne of Saint Peter today - all the way down to the poor pathetic modernist Novus Ordo layman who thinks he's destined for a one way ticket to Heaven just for being a so-called "good person".
Pray for these poor pathetic human beings. May God have mercy upon their souls.
