Title: Divorced and remarried Catholics receiving the Eucharist?

Has anyone ever mentioned this:

Reconciliation through the sacrament of Penance can be granted only to those who have repented for having violated the sign of the covenant and of fidelity to Christ, and who are committed to living in complete continence.

Is Francis going to modify the current Catechism, which would mean a third edition?

Given they hand annulments out like confetti anyway I don't see why this is SUCH a big deal.  If they are going to annul marriages without a care in the world, they why stop divorced and remarried people receiving communion?  It's inconsistent and dishonest.

There are practicing fαɢɢօts, women who have had abortions, adulterers and all manner of people receiving communion in novus ordo temples every week.  The priests don't instruct them, correct them or refuse them.

In reality, annulments are simply Catholic divorces much of the time.

Yes, this has already been going on for decades, so I don't get what the fuzz is all about.

Novus Ordo people are such hypocrites.
