After reading it in English, Tele should be proud. See, the Society basically said what you were saying. It seems they do admit it might be a lesser evil, but still should be prohibited. They actually seem to call the Pope out. Far from trying to make excuses for him.
There still seems to be confusion as to what in the heck the Pope is saying. The book words said nothing about approving it. Yet Lombardi's "clarification" seems to muddy the waters.
The Society article is right in "what the Pope should have said." All the world needs at this point is more moral confusion.
