Poche, you never cease to amaze me with your ignorance.

I have another question but first I must ask this one.

    poche,

    Do you believe in Medjugorje?
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

  • Sage advice of a bishop to  :dancing-banana:!!
"Go to a decent Mass when you can; not when you cannot.  Go to Confession when you can; grace is sufficient when it is not possible."

    Love your priests
     Pray for your priests

    Really, dude ?

In this instance the priest should have been reported and his ability to hear confessions permanently suspended. In fact, I would argue he should be defrocked.

The fact is if I had reported it no action would have been taken against him and I would have been treated with contempt and scorn and we all know it.

I agree that the diocese will not do anything if you complained. There was a story I heard about Bergoglio when he was in the seminary. I went to confession and mantioned that he had a problem with somebody. The confessor asked, "Have you prayed for this person?" When Bergoglio said "no." the confefsor said, "That's it, we're done."
As a starting point you should be praying for your confessor and the other priests in the area. The second thing is you should ignore them when they spout off nonsense. If we let it get to us every time someone who we know is going to say something awful says something awful you will make yourself miserable in a way that is unnecessary.
