D. Sedes are sad, lonely people

Being interested in psychology I always wonder what it is that leads people to do silly stupid immoral things.

Aside from the obvious answer, which is sin. The root cause. And the hierarchies of vice within that.

But human conditions contribute massively.

I think what leads a lot of people to make sedevacantism a dogma is generally a certain loneliness and isolation.

Trads generally suffer from this being so moral in an immoral world.

I always try to make sure that people understand that Dogmatic Sedes are generally trying their best to be good Cahtolics. I will never take that away from them. Certainly much better than our Novus Ordo contemporaries.

but what is that causes them to take that leap to make something which is an unprovable, (and not their place to judge anyway) thesis into a practical article of Faith.

It does indeed seem to be the opinion by the majority of theologians that a Pope is automatically deposed if he is a heretic.  But for context, that only seemed to become so in the 20th century. And despite the utterly ignorant protestations of certain losers on the internet, it was heavily disputed by great and holy theological minds for hundreds of years.

What was never disputed though was the moral obligation to distance oneself from things which are danger to the Faith. This goes right back to the first days of the Church.

So what leads a person to be so silly as to not see the difference? Aside from pride and malice, I think general loneliness and isolation causes a person to lack the social awareness, the mental balance to be able to put things in their proper place and proportion.

Isolation can also lead to a person exaggerate the importance of their own ideas in relation to articles of Faith, or even to not properly understand certain aspects of our religion and why God instituted them.

Honestly this would explain the extremely vicious and bitter behavior of these people on this forum. Their attempts to silence those who speak against them, to dox them, to generally do anything but face up to their own inadequacies.

Whats tragic is that many of these people are otherwise very intelligent and pious.

It does truly break my heart to see people like this therefore, and I want to help them.

Matthew described the poor man as retarded... but I suppose his "driver" is demonic.

Yet he's allowed to stay on the forum.

What an embarrasment to the SSPX Resistance that has struggled so long for credibility.

What about someone who says that if you don't attend the resistance, you are in error or going to hell? That seems pretty dogmatic of a position also. Maybe such a person has problems too.
