Title: Crisis in the Church - Crisis of Authority
Post by: JonandDebbie on June 09, 2020, 07:12:42 PM
There is one Pius XII bishop in Chile, Archbishop Bernardino Pinera, that God has kept alive for 104 years.
August, 2019 he was in the media as being investigated for a child molestation that was supposed to have happened some fifty years ago. Much of the news reports are still online with some You-tubes of him walking and sitting while speaking with reporters. He denies the accusation and states that his life has been impeccable. His nephew is the president of Chile and he made a statement to the media as well, saying that knowing his uncle as he has he is convinced the accusations are false.
As I see it, the ever-divided traditional Catholics of today should rush at the possibility that there is a man that claims an impeccable life and that should have unquestioned apostolic authority necessary to produce a pope to which we can submit. Traditional Catholics should no longer be willing to follow clergy that will not take action to end the divisions by doing the Catholic thing of having a pope.
