Rome has not been kind to some conservative orders. I'm not aware of allegations of impropriety concerning these groups that might justify what happened. If the SSPX were to make a deal with Rome, would the sisters and other affiliated groups survive?
Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate followed St. Maximilian Kolbe's spirituality and had some use of the TLM (extraordinary form).
