The HHS Mandate didn't stop 50% of "Catholics" from voting for him, and a lot of it is because the conciliar church has no backbone. This is only one more example. What Bendict should do is tell Catholics that they are excommunicated if they support Obama. But no, he congratulates him on winning.
And it was the same thing with Cardinal Dolan, who should have condemned the evil actions of Obama and told people not to vote for him. Instead he invited Obama to the Catholic charity dinner a few weeks ago and shared some laughs with him. Pathetic!
Also, an apologist on "Catholic" Answers had this to say, in regards to whether or not it was a sin to vote for Obama:
All people have an obligation to inform their consciences regarding the moral choices they make in life. For Catholics to deliberately refuse to inform their consciences with the teachings of the Church or if they deliberately disobey the moral teaching of the Church, they can sin mortally if the choice is a serious one. But if people sincerely follow their consciences, whether their consciences are well informed or through no fault of their own they are not, they do not sin by acting on them
That is ridiculous, wishy-washy nonsense. People who vote for someone like Obama don't sin as long as they are "sincere"?
