  • Well, it seems that Fr. Rizzo will not be returning to the USA this year.  I have read that he has become fully incardinated into the diocese of Paramatta in Australia and serves a NO parish there.

I wonder if he even offers the TLM anymore, as the parish he is at does not list a Latin mass offering at all.

If this is true, it is very sad.

  • I pray he finds his way to Truth.   I can't conceive that he is content with this situation, after offering the true Mass, and now only the facsimile.  Very sad indeed.

  • It appears that the parish where he is assistant priest is not offering a Latin Mass.

  • Quote from: ggreg
I was with Father Rizzo and often staying with his twin brother between the dates in the article. The article is correct, as I remember it.  I can confirm first hand experience of some of those events.  I cannot specifically find anything in the article that was wrong, to my recollection.

Obviously I did not shadow Fr. Rizzo but I was seeing him every day of every other day for a period of about five months.

This kind of stuff was really going on at St Mary's back then??? Really? This is actually pretty messed up.  I scarcely know what to think.

  • I spoke to Fr. Rizzo by phone and he does offer the old Mass.  He is also required to offer the new mass which he does as reverently as possible.  No communion in the hand, and ad orientum.

  • I can't even believe that Matthew allows this rumor mongering to go on here.
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...
