  • Rome has not been kind to some conservative orders. I'm not aware of allegations of impropriety concerning these groups that might justify what happened. If the SSPX were to make a deal with Rome, would the sisters and other affiliated groups survive?

Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate followed St. Maximilian Kolbe's spirituality and had some use of the TLM (extraordinary form).
"The FFI was one of the most flourishing examples of Franciscan spirituality, with countless vocations and an exemplary poverty in the spirit of St. Francis."

Little Sisters of Mary ran nursing homes and used the Latin novus ordo. Following interventions by Rome:
"34 out of the 39 sisters of the Little Sisters of Mary have asked to be dispensed from their vows."
