What happens during the next year will be most instructive. I also find it instructive that, apparently, a major objection being raised is a procedural issue rather than one based on morality.
A year from now:
--Will the diocese be forced to disavow this docuмent and actively promote true Catholic teachings on the matter?
--Will the diocese be allowed to simply quietly drop the issue without actually disavowing the immoral instructions?
--Will the diocese continue to promote this docuмent and, perhaps, adopt even more immoral practices?
or, perhaps, a year from now:
--Will the German bishops' conference adopt or reject this immoral teaching?
--Will other bishops' conferences follow the lead of this archdiocese and begin exploring the adoption of these same principles or actually adopt them?
--Will the Vatican ever actually uphold Catholic morality in the matter?
Hopefully, one of our German-speaking members will keep track of this and provide a follow up. What usually happens in these circuмstances is that a year from now, the whole mess is forgotten while the "policy" continues and is quietly adopted more and more until the entire Conciliar sect is practicing the evil.
