The title of the article is: "We will not go against this "Tradi" movement."

So another sign of the times. Modernist Cistercians were about to close this 1000 year old abbey.
Yet they voted to allow 12 monks from du Barroux to take it over.

The ex-superior reflects that maybe Vatican II didn't prioritize the essentials of monastic life. He concludes that the world is painfully in need of stability, esp. with regards to "The Form".
This abbey has a deep connection to Our Lady of Good Succor. Their statue disappeared during the brutal  'drownings' in the Loire river. It has a theme of 'Resistance', from centuries past.

Plus, on this site, there is another article today commenting on the few priestly vocations in the vast majority of France.

Some dioceses haven't ordained priests for 14 years!!  Perhaps they should be named "Die oh! SEEzzzz"

The writhing is in the wailing.
