  • Was anybody asking about Saint Athanasius Church in Virginia
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church

I thought so but can't find the thread now.  It must have been on a thread where that was not the subject.  I was asking in hopes that someone could direct me.

  • If I see it up I will let LOT know.  I do not think he will be posting much anymore.

  • Well it’s certainly not up to Mass-goers to impose their standards or imprudently tell newcomers or anyone else exactly how they should dress.  If a man is dressed indecently, like a turning up in bathers that could be a different matter. But otherwise why do people try to impose dress standards that the Church herself does not impose?

BTW, there are other options beside the ones presented here by Lot who was trying to make it look like nothing short of a suit and tie is acceptable.
